ABOUT me
My most treasured memories all revolve around food. As a girl, my most vivid memories are on our farm, hand-making tagliatelle, with the warm aroma of sugo di carne in the air.
I grew up in Arcevia, a beautiful rustic village nestled within the mountains of central Italy. Arcevia is in the Marche region of Italy, famous for the Verdicchio grape, which makes the most delicious white wines.

My grandmother ran a restaurant in Arcevia, where she taught my mother how to cook, who in turn taught me. When I cook, I look to recreate the traditions that've been passed down through the members of my family, using the tricks and secrets that've been used for gernerations.

When I wasn't learning how to cook with my mother and grandmother, I would study painting in the village - it is here I discovered the beautiful similarities between food and painting; cooking is an expression of art. I like to bring an artful nature to my cooking - rather than following a rigorous recipe, I create my own dishes through experimentation with flavours and ingredients.
After studying cooking and art in Italy, I lived, worked and travelled across Europe, America, Indonesia and Australia - discovering each region's diverse flavours and recipes. Now residing in London, I continue to travel back to my hometown of Arcevia, to my dad's old-land secular olive grove, to forage from his peach and cherry trees, and to pick from his tomato plants. My dad produces rich, homemade olive oil that I use in all of my recipes and I can't leave without a few bottles in my suitcase to take back to London.

Each time I return to Arcevia, it feels like my first time - I never tire of long lunches amongst the shadows of the olive trees, or aperitivo by the old castle, overlooking the landscape, while enjoying food from the local farmers. It is this feeling I want to bring you, it are these tastes I want to share with you and it is my love of cooking I want to teach you with my ITALIAN HOMEMADE classes.

My culture shows me that you don't need a big, modern kitchen or the most expensive tools to make delicious food - all you need are your hands, a few simple ingredients and my Italian family secrets!

Wherever you are in the world, you can join me in my kitchen through one of my classes, where I will share my recipes, skills, tips and passion with you. Together we’ll recreate the traditions taught by my family and practice the family secrets they’ve passed on through generations. We will feel connected to my old family and culture, using our hands to make the perfect tagliatelle - just like my grandmother used to.
